Hi, I'm Alex 👋🏾

I'm an iOS Developer with 4 years of experience building high-quality, user-focused apps. I’m a team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and learning from people across different disciplines.

My journey began at the Apple Developer Academy, and since then I’ve worked across startups and innovation programmes, developing iOS projects from idea to App Store. I’m passionate about tackling technical challenges and continually enhancing my coding skills.

During WWDC ’22, I had the honour of presenting my project to Tim Cook after being selected as a winner of the Swift Student Challenge that same year.

Outside of work, I enjoy building indie apps — two of which are live on the App Store — and consistently exploring new tools and technologies to grow as a developer.

Projects

Wings Taking Flight

Wings Taking Flight

The Wings Taking Flight app was rebuilt based on the company’s MVP and, in less than a year, has become a well-polished product that delivers a remarkable experience to subscribers across the UK. My work included redesigning the UX, coding, deploying, and managing App Store releases.

App Store
Blocalcs

Blocalcs

Originally created for the Swift Student Challenge during WWDC '22, where it was selected as a winning project, this project aims to deliver a challenging experience to those who enjoy math games. Version 2.0 expands on the original project by adding puzzle customisation and two new game modes.

Bora Zerah

Bora Zerah

Bora Zerah was the first project I created at the start of my iOS development journey. Built with Swift and UIKit, it aims to help gamers manage their collection by adding titles and tracking gameplay time.
